Now for what you really want to know: the reason this place may seem odd around the edges, is because traditional business guidance is generally super boring, steeped in prejudice, and rarely relevant. Who even wants that? Are you really so deeply committed to productivity hacks and buying marketing books at the airport? I didn’t think so.

Wouldn’t you rather just enjoy the f*#% out of life, hang out with people you genuinely like, and conquer your business like whale vs. shark? Because here’s a shocking truth: whales are stronger than sharks. Yeah, take a moment to process. It’s big news.

You’d think sharks, with their old-school reputation and constant resting beast face, would obliterate the peaceful, wholesome whale. But it’s the other way around. Are whales smarter, faster, more evolved, and clearly better looking? Obviously. Is your business?

Ha! Just kidding. That’s a trick question. (You don’t need to figure out how your company compares to a team of orcas taking down a great white ocean zombie.) Yet it leads to this answer: you can make a lot of money, gain tons of influence, and live a life so grand Zeus himself weeps with envy. But it’s not delicious if you’re miserable or creating misery in the world. Which is why many moons have passed since, around here, we swapped old-school for a fresh take.

Yes, we still use phrases like return on investment, labor budget, and work culture – may the polished authority of legitimate business wisdom come out to play. And yet, we do it while respecting your health, happiness, and personal life.

Because regardless of the many (MANY!) plot twists, we seriously love business. Business is what prints the books we love, builds the parks we play in, and ensures an endless supply of funnel cakes every Summer. And we sincerely believe that with a little problem-solving, you can love business too.
